Is that a rhetorical question?

Funny story about Scene 2 of Where's Waldo - it's difficult to film at night. It's fairly dark (which is what we were going for) but it is difficult to simulate moonlight when there is no moon.

So we didn't try. As you'll see, when Austin (the director) goes to check on Chris, he leaves his headlights on. This is so that he can see exactly what is going on, and so that we could have some light to film by.

You may notice that it gets dimmer throughout the film... this is because Austin's car battery was slowly dying throughout the shoot. When we wrapped up the scene, we couldn't get his car to start. Note to all aspiring director/actor types: CAR BATTERIES DIE.

And, here is Where's Waldo, Scene 2.

Who is Chris Cage?

We all grew up with "Where's Waldo," and partaking in the live-action parody film has been a blast. I play the lead in the film, as movie star Chris Cage.

Chris is a hotshot movie star, making up for his lack of true acting skills with sheer charm and muscle. He's also a bit of an airhead, but a good-hearted airhead. He is playing the lead in "Where's Waldo" (the film within the film) as the character Mark Knight. So my challenge here was that I was playing several roles - Chris Cage, Chris Cage acting as Mark Knight, and (you'll soon see) Chris Cage actually being Mark Knight. It was a confusing spectrum - I hope you can recognize the differences in characters (I tried to make them obvious through Chris's level of acting talent.)

Without further ado, we at Remember Tommy Productions and Blue Ark Productions present: Part 1 of "Where's Waldo"

Where's Waldo?

It's a been a while since my last post.

Wait Until Dark closed on Saturday (the 23rd). What a talented cast - I learned so much working on that show, and gained invaluable experience. But the best part was the friends I made.

Monday, the 25th marks the release of the first part of "Where's Waldo?" This is the movie project I have been working on for the entire summer, come to fruition. My character, Chris Cage, is a self-important movie star, who's not the brightest and exhibits certain traits of bipolarity. It certainly was an extremely fun movie to work on.

Here's the trailer:

What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been.

Today was a strange day.

Started off with a forced cleaning of the basement. Nothing's really worse than being woken up to throw away childhood memories. Guess it had to happen. Managed to keep my Legos though. Love my Legos.

From there, I baked a pie. Random, I know. It was a lemon meringue pie. So delicious.

After that I went with my dad to help him dump stuff at the landfill. As we left, my dog's chain got stuck in the bumper (she wasn't on the chain, don't worry) yanked the chain from the trees it is secured between, and pulled the entirety of the chain (about 40 feet) behind me for roughly two miles before we realized.

We got to the landfill to discover it was closed on Tuesday. So Dad dropped me off at the gym where I got did too much cardio.

After the gym, I got home and played Left 4 Dead 2 (great game, by the way) and got online to check my Facebook. And sure enough, my friend Kristian Y. had posted something crazy from Tosh.0.

Your turn for the strange. Enjoy.

Eyes in a Moment of Blindness

Hey folks!

So, I like to think I have an eclectic music taste - I'll listen to anything from dubstep to country. So obviously, I have quite a bit of music, and in that, quite a bit of U2.

So when I first looked at this video, I thought it was just a really cool gimmick that turned out better than expected at a U2 concert in Nashville - Bono picks a guy out of the crowd, lets the guy select a song, and then the guy plays guitar while Bono sings. Cool - and the guy gets to keep the guitar.

Then I read the description - turns out this guy was blind. Suddenly, the song choice (look at the lyrics) becomes more meaningful, and the entire thing becomes WAY cooler.

Enjoy.

Cute? Yah...

I've been working fairly hard, so I haven't been able to post in over a week! But as my online class starts, I open another show, and get ready to head off to Wait Until Dark, I wanted to leave you all with your daily dose of adorable.

Also, some great movies coming out over the next few weeks - what are you looking forward to?
