Star Wars. I own the VHS, DVD's, and have read much of the expanded universe. It's got a life of its own. But I've always wondered - how could George Lucas have messed up the prequels so badly?
He was given so much to work with, after all. Overall, the prequels were just meant to be cash-makers. Really, it seemed as though Lucas had nothing to do with them at all.
This explains so much.
